Civil union
Since 2016 Italian law allows same-sex couples to enter a civil union (unione civile). Paperwork is handled by our partners at WeddingInTuscany.info.
Symbolic ceremony
A symbolic ceremony is open to every couple, anywhere in Italy, with no legal procedure.
Married at home
Many couples marry legally in their home country and celebrate with a symbolic ceremony in Italy.

Can same-sex couples marry in Italy?
Italy does not offer same-sex marriage, but since 2016 same-sex couples can enter a civil union. Many couples also choose a symbolic ceremony, which is open to everyone.

Our specialist partners at WeddingInTuscany.info. We take care of the ceremony.
Can the ceremony reflect both our families and cultures?
Yes. We can lead the ceremony in two languages and include rituals from your cultures.

We work with many planners and venues across Italy and are happy to share names when you enquire.
